10/16/2015 0 Comments Apex portalI don't have a link for the pic but I can tell you it had the same comedy element as my inspiration. I picked color pencils bc I feel with that you can add much more detail than you can with others. The 3d is the best part for me but what is lacking is my artisti ability in general.

10/16/2015 0 Comments Pick 2 again. Daily monsterWorking with the ink was not fun for me. The hardest part was thinking about what the random lines could turn into. I eventually figured it out though. 10/16/2015 0 Comments Pick 2 again. Clay fishSculpting the fish was the hard part. Forming the fins was difficult bc it would start to sag bc of too much weight. I bent the fins up and made them thinner and it ended up working out in the end. 10/12/2015 0 Comments Photos themeMy theme was wood. I think that this is the best because this incorporated not one, but two elements. Showing the trees and wooden branches showing wood on wood. 9/29/2015 0 Comments Pop Art It was the visual art movement that characterized a sense of optimism during the post war. It included different styles of painting and sculpture from various countries, but what they all had in common was an interest in mass-media, mass-production and mass-culture. i took an interest in the Marilyn Monroe pop art. i pictured a cartoon that would look fun dressing like her. i picked Bart Simpson because i feel that he would be well known and who wouldn't want to see him as Marilyn Monroe. we added her beauty mark and also made sure that it was the tinted pink like in the original. also adding his tips yellow to match with her blonde hair. 29 september 2015
9/17/2015 0 Comments Two in onei picked this morph because i imagined what it would be like to be an adult, and with an adult i imagined a business man that is miserable in his everyday job. sadly, lots of people go to a job they hate. i wanted to show that every adult has their inner child just a lot don't show it. this relates to me because i remember my mother telling me about her job before she became a teacher, she was working at Mejier as some sort of computer person. she was so miserable. i feel that my drawing of the child was the most successful of everything i did. i made him colorful to show the innocence and childishness of his inner self. the worst was definitely the background. you can obviously see the lines i hadn't blended the dark brown area. it's almost like a halo. getting the proportions also was the hardest and one of the worst. 9/17/2015 8/29/2015 0 Comments Illustration Fridaythis is my illustration Friday. the theme word was People. first i wasn't sure what to draw, so i first started with drawing three people. i decided to draw a family showing them as a whole. the dad looks laid back, the mom is stern, and the little girl is happy thinking about getting a puppy. i drew it to show a family dynamic, showing the girl is going to try to convince her mother to get a puppy. the hardest part for me was thinking of a good idea. truthfully that was difficult for me, i don't feel like i can be very creative. so then i ended up with a family of three, showing there different parts as a whole. Blog#3 8/29/2015 8/29/2015 0 Comments Forced Perspectivemy group and i did a perspective photo. we went around campus looking around to see what we could use for forced perspective. we did the stairs, we had laurel stand under them with her arms up while Cassidy took the photo and positioned it just right so it looks like Laurel is holding up the stairs. the hard part was positioning the camera, you have to have it perfectly aligned. you can see where we slightly messed up with her right hand, her hand needs to be slightly to her right. overall, we didn't run into many problems. |
