It included different styles of painting and sculpture from various countries, but what they all had in common was an interest in mass-media, mass-production and mass-culture. i took an interest in the Marilyn Monroe pop art. i pictured a cartoon that would look fun dressing like her. i picked Bart Simpson because i feel that he would be well known and who wouldn't want to see him as Marilyn Monroe. we added her beauty mark and also made sure that it was the tinted pink like in the original. also adding his tips yellow to match with her blonde hair. 29 september 2015

9/17/2015 0 Comments Two in onei picked this morph because i imagined what it would be like to be an adult, and with an adult i imagined a business man that is miserable in his everyday job. sadly, lots of people go to a job they hate. i wanted to show that every adult has their inner child just a lot don't show it. this relates to me because i remember my mother telling me about her job before she became a teacher, she was working at Mejier as some sort of computer person. she was so miserable. i feel that my drawing of the child was the most successful of everything i did. i made him colorful to show the innocence and childishness of his inner self. the worst was definitely the background. you can obviously see the lines i hadn't blended the dark brown area. it's almost like a halo. getting the proportions also was the hardest and one of the worst. 9/17/2015 |
